First of all, welcome to Panem. We accept any types of players, whether they are new at roleplaying or have years of experience. Each member can contribute to the site at any time; don't feel like you have to get on every few hours. We have the right to ban and delete posts of players who decide to disobey the rules. And if you think to upset the Capitol leader, consequences are severe. No pressure, of course. Now here are your rules and regulations according to President Nimda.
The warning system follows thus: If you manage to break a rule, you will be warned. Major rules broken after a warning will result in a ban, whereas minor rules will have "three strikes and you're out." Extremely major rules that you could only have purposely broken will result in immediate banning, the length of the ban depending on what you did.
Respect fellow players.
Any insulting the users (characters are another matter), critiquing them and breaking them down are considered disrespect.
Respect the staff.
No insulting, critiquing them, breaking them down, just like the above rule. Along with that, you may not bug them in the Cbox about answering your threads or pm them or write anything in the threads asking them to reply/modify/delete a post. Some posts may take a couple days to reply to; the admin accounting for that may be sick, may need to think about it, may need to check something on that thread that may be violating the rules. And no replying to a [Mod] thread if you are not a staff member with those rights.
No plagiarism.
Do not be copying and pasting a whole rp thread from another site onto this! The idea of the site is to have fun putting your own original input into each post! And if you want to create a character based off of some book character or something, please put the name of that character in the character form section 'Face Claim'.
Write to the extent of your ability.
There is no txt talk allowed in threads; if anyplace, its the Cbox to use txt. There is also a minimum of one good paragraph in each roleplay thread you post (general threads are fine with a shorter post). And please try to spell correctly in the threads; small careless mistakes are fine once in a while, but there is a spell check and should be a spell check for the computer in general. We don't expect the best roleplayers and nationwide-best spellers, but DoNt rytE liek teehS!
Use PG-13-and-under talk etc.
The site is rated PG-13, but mainly for blood and gore. Minor forms of cussing are allowed as long as you don't spam your posts with them. Absolutely NO major cussing (f-bombs and girl dogs of any kind). If you post something with a cuss word you think is fine and when you post it you see a picture instead of your word, CHANGE IT. And don't use that word again. Also, if you want to make a character displaying forbidden love (in smaller terms, gay), you are able to, as long as you don't start creeping other members out by talking about their attractiveness. That is, not unless they're TOTALLY fine with it; ask them first. Boy-girl relationships can be kindled; you can fall in love with another player and think how attractive they are but please try and fall in love with someone around the same age (no love between a 50 year old and a 15 year old!)!! And no talking about sexual parts or actions PERIOD!
No power play.
Roleplaying your part is to say what your character would do, then leave the story up to another user who will react with their own character. You are not in control of their character and they aren't able to say what yours will do.
No flooding the Cbox.
Feel free to use the Cbox any time to chat and hang out and make new buddies, but please do not post 1000 annoying messages all over. (ie. Writing the same message over, and over, and over, and over,...)
Have ad-control.
Advertisements go in the Advertisement section; do not spam the site with links to a website or advertisements. If you want to show off a DeviantArt or such website, there is the 'url' section in the Cbox and the profile site displays.

Any amazing suggestions you all have to add to the site, pm the head admin (aka Sparta)(aka me)! I will totes consider each and every request and possibly put some to stone! Don't see this site as a boot camp, see it as a fun place to roleplay and hang out!
